When I was growing up, I drew a lot and wanted to be an artist. I taught myself how to use a free version of Photoshop so I could do graphic design, and later on I picked up painting. But being an artist doesn't put food on the table, so I ended up going to college to become an engineer, and then again to become a programmer.
Even though I don't draw as much as I used to, I never felt like I was any less of an artist. Cookie decorating is one of my more recent creative outlets. I don't run Raybo Cookies as my primary source of income or because I need extra money. It's purely as an expression of myself. Not only do I want my cookies to look good, I want them to taste good, too. Even if you don't order any cookies, I hope you're able to find a cookie I made that you really like!
